Set in modern-day Botswana, Nazara tells the story of Nazara, a young Herero woman who falls in love with a German man named Michael while studying in Germany. Despite the cultural differences and the dark history that exists between their two peoples, Nazara and Michael decide to pursue a relationship and eventually return to Botswana together.
