Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF) appoints renowned journalist, Christelle Ngaleu, as Media Director for Africa Region.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Christelle Ngaleu to the position of Media Director for Africa Region effective June 1, 2023. Ms. Ngaleu comes with years of experience and vast footprint across the African continent that will take our film festival to new heights. Join us in welcoming Ms. Christelle Ngaleu to Team SVAFF.

Christelle Ngaleu is an African journalist from Cameroon. She holds a degree in Journalism and Marketing from the Higher Institute of Applied Technologies in Yaoundé. She has worked as a reporter for newspapers in Cameroon, including “Le Messager,” the country’s leading private press organization, as well as international magazines like “Homme d’Afrique” and “Femme d’Afrique,” based in Morocco. With recognized influence across the continent, Christelle has actively participated in significant African and global meetings such as the African Union Summit and the United Nations Summit. She is a member of the standing committee of the Network of Women Journalists of Africa, known as “Les panafricaines,” and co-founded the audiovisual magazine “Focus 237” broadcast on Cameroon’s first private television channel, Canal2 International, and on YouTube.
